Join us for this official Beginning Level EFT Training 1 & 2, open to everyone including licensed mental health practitioners, EFT Practitioners, curious EFT Enthusiasts and everyone in between.  You need not be certified or licensed to take this class.  At its most basic level, EFT Tapping is an simple practice that eliminates anxiety and hyper-arousal by calming the nervous system.  It is effective as a self-help tool as well as a therapeutic tool across many disciplines.  98% of EFT studies show statistically significant results.  For more about how EFT works, please scroll down.

Jondi Whitis is a Master EFT Trainer and Trainer of Trainers based in Brooklyn, NY.  She sits on the board of AAMET International (soon to be EFT International) where she works to upgrade EFT training requirements across all levels.

Jondi is known for EFT Training in its original form as developed by Gary Craig and for incorporating important concepts from Psychology, NLP and Neuropsychology into the expert application of EFT and Tapping.

This EFT Training 1 & 2 can be applied toward Intermediate Certification through AAMET International / EFT International.  18 CEs are available.

Four (4) Written Learning Modules will be delivered via email to all students within one week of class completion.
Two (2) hours of Mentoring Calls will be offered to all students within 2 weeks of class completion.


Student will be able to explain and demonstrate use of foundationAL EFT/Tapping skills including identifying the 12 main Meridian Points used in EFT and applying the basic Tapping algorithm/procedure to distressing thoughts, feelings and physical sensations.

Student will be able to discuss and demonstrate building rapport and safety with clients as part of using EFT in the context of a healing relationship.

Student will be able to explain and discuss the importance and benefits of using the client’s own words and subjective experience while using EFT Tapping.

Student will be able to identify online EFT Research resources for their own education as well as for sharing with others.

Student will be able to list and discuss with a client (role play) various Aspects (as defined in EFT) of an identified problem or issue.

Student will create and implement quality questions during an EFT session in class.

Students will be able to discuss (in role play/practice) basics of the body’s trauma experience, and its biological, emotional and physical components.

Student will demonstrate (in role play/practice) use of EFT’s Gentle Techniques as a means to relieve overwhelm and emotional flooding.

Student will be able to apply several methods of Measurement throughout their use of EFT Tapping with client (in role play/practice).

Student will demonstrate their use of Calibration while observing the client (in role play/practice during an EFT session.

Student will be able to identify Cognitive and/or Perspective Shifts in the client (in role play/practice).

Student will be able to successfully demonstrate the use of Tell the Story technique and The Movie Technique (in role play/practice).

Student will be able to describe Abreactions, and how to use Tapping preventatively.

Student will be able to recognize Limiting Beliefs from early learning experiences and families of origin and demonstrate ways to use this information effectively during an EFT Tapping session (in role play/practice).

Student will demonstrate an attempt to uncover specific Adverse Childhood Events (ACEs) during an EFT Tapping session (in role play/practice).

Student will be able to identify and discuss, in group format, the concepts of Reversals and Resistance as well as how to address these as additional Aspects with EFT Tapping.

Students will be able to identify, discuss and demonstrate the different uses of Tail-Enders.

Students will demonstrate the basic elements of a well-structured EFT session, including face to face, via telephone or online.

Students will be able to list and compare the basics of using EFT with adults vs. children, individually vs in groups, as well as Surrogate Tapping.

Students will identify and explain their individual Scope of Practice, Ethical considerations and details of how they will provide Informed Consent as well as maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and referral sources.
