ONLINE THERAPY & COUNSELING IN GA & FL
Online therapy and counseling in GA & FL is offered through SecureVideo/ZOOM. This platform is secure and HIPAA compliant. I will send your unique link to each of our appointments immediately prior to our meeting time.
My email provider is Hushmail, an encrypted and HIPAA compliant email provider. Your emails are secure at my end, however, your email security is only as secure as the provider you are using at your end.
New Clients: All first appointments are pre-paid at the time of scheduling. Please complete the paperwork in the blue box to the right and email it to me prior to our first meeting at email@example.com.
Returning Clients: Please complete the new HIPAA & Consent to Treat form and email it to me prior to our next scheduled appointment at firstname.lastname@example.org.

FEES & BILLING
Planning for the required financial investment in therapy and counseling is an important part of the therapy process. Payment can be made with FSA, HSA, debit card, or credit card only.

Charges are run through SQUARE. Vendor is listed as “MLO” on your statement for your privacy and protection. You will NOT receive a receipt (receipts through SQUARE are not HIPAA compliant). If you have set your card settings to notify you (or someone else) of transactions, you will receive those alerts per your own settings.
I am not contracted with any insurance panels. Please contact your insurance carrier and ask how much they will reimburse you for a 90837 60-minute Telehealth session. I can provide you with a Superbill (statement) that you may submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. See below for Superbill instructions.

I will provide your Superbill via email, usually between Monday and Wednesday of the following week.
2-DAY CANCELLATION POLICY
Please notify me at least 48 hours in advance of a cancelled or missed appointment to avoid being charged in full for my time. Email your cancellation to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations are not accepted by text or voice mail. Thank you for your understanding.

I have a professional presence only on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and MeetUp. Postings on these Social Media platforms are for professional purposes only. For your privacy, safety and protection it is my policy to not engage with clients or potential clients over any of these forms of media.
In addition, I specifically DO NOT (nor have I ever) engage with groups or individuals in any sort of Chat Room, Webcast, Podcast, Bulletin Board, Reddit, YouTube or any other form of interactive social media engagement. If you believe you have seen my picture or my comments on any of these platforms, this was the result of identify theft.
